What does being a Volunteer mean to you? How has UT empowered you to make a difference in a way you might not have imagined elsewhere?

I have been fortunate to learn what it means to be a Volunteer through being inspired by my fellow members of the UT community. My colleagues, the students and families, my current and past professors, and many more show me every day how we can all come together to further the goals and vision of this institution. I am truly fulfilled by being able to help and share guidance with students or anyone who crosses my path in my daily work. I remember in the not-so-distant past when I was on the other side of that interaction, trying to navigate a university for the first time. I am thankful for all of the experiences that I have had at UT as a student, staff member, and Vol for Life!
