What does being a Volunteer mean to you? How has UT empowered you to make a difference in a way you might not have imagined elsewhere?

“As a three-time alumna of the University of Tennessee College of Nursing and a dedicated faculty member for two decades, the Volunteer spirit runs deep within me. To me, being a Volunteer is more than just lending a hand; it’s about showing up, putting in the hard work, and ensuring the hard work completed positively impacts others. The University of Tennessee has afforded me the privilege to educate the next generation of healthcare providers and empowered me within my clinical practice to improve health outcomes for individuals and communities not only locally but on a global scale.”
