What does being a Volunteer mean to you? How has UT empowered you to make a difference in a way you might not have imagined elsewhere?
“I learned to build my social capital through the Community Engagement Academy. Through this experience, I realized that in order to make necessary connections within my community, cultural competence and humility are necessary—and that being a Volunteer means we need to get out into the community and put our words and name into action.”
