What does being a Volunteer mean to you? How has UT empowered you to make a difference in a way you might not have imagined elsewhere?

To me, being a Volunteer means integrating my research and teaching with community service and academic outreach in the spirit of UT’s land-grant mission. The ability to work with UT’s diverse groups of students, colleagues, and staff has enabled me to stretch my horizons in many ways over the years.
