The Charles R. Burchett Extraordinary Contributions to Campus Life Award is named for the World War II veteran, former Knox County Schools administrator, and UT dean of students to honor students and student organizations for extraordinary contributions to campus life.
United Residence Halls Council (URHC)
The United Residence Halls Council supports students living in residence halls by coordinating and training hall councils, funding select campus programs, representing UT at regional conferences, and conducting their own campus-wide programs.
URHC empowers new students in leadership through the hall council program and believes that the residential experience can be the key to a student’s success.
