UT and the Center for Student Engagement are lucky to have Inez Royston, accounting specialist for the CSE. No matter what comes up or what mistakes have been made, she makes it work. Those who know Royston marvel at how she accomplishes all she does so well. In her role at the CSE, she leads by example with her student employees and serves as a great example to the staff and students in her responsibility, teamwork, and willingness to help others. Her colleagues say she consistently goes out of her way to do more than expected. She does this all while taking night classes to advance her education. This year, Royston tried a new model with her student assistants by promoting one to a leadership role, improving performance and efficiency.
